Being intellectually curious both in teaching and in science
- read New Scientist every week
- Browse teaching blogs
- Do something new at least every fortnight
- Scan all paper documents into PDF's
- File scanned documents into folders on the Sharepoint site
- Add links to google doc versions to the schemes of work
Paper organisation
- Examine paper on desk, separate into sections
- Use available space to create a filing system
- Change anything that can be electronic into electronic
Mentally
- Plan the order of teaching for the new syllabus
- Compare with school dates when available
- Think about links between subjects
